Help me name this character?

I'm re-writing a novel I started writing months ago, and would like your opinion. Which do you like better, Esmeralda (Esme) or Anastasia (Anya)? She is the daughter of two sorcerers who have had to suppress their magic. She wants to learn magic, and is actually learning magic in secret. She has a bit of a stubborn streak, and doesn't want anybody to stop her from doing what she wants. She also doesn't always think before she acts. She is also very good at fooling the town guards. She has strawberry blond hair, silver blue eyes and kind of tan skin.
