Can any property e.g. furnishings in the house of the deceased be removed if they claim they belong to them?

father recently passed my brother and myself are executors younger sibling claims sofa and chair in living room are hers as she 'lent' them to 'dad'. Should we give them back to her? My brother thinks that they should remain in the property as they have become part of the property?
