Can the executor of the will be compelled to sue? What else can the beneficiaries do?

Perhaps, depending on state law, they might be able to get a judge to remove the executor and appoint another person to act as executor. That person could then decide to sue. I think that approach makes more sense than trying to compel the current executor to do anything. But ask the attorney, not Yahoo Answers. Ask about the difficulty of removing and replacing the executor.
