Need facts on true social security, not what the media dishes?

People who don't pay very much could care less about the Self Employed who are getting nailed! This program is raping me personally and it's going to get much worse. Why would they care? They cannot do the math to see what is left after that massive tax plus my Federal, state and property taxes. Don't ever discuss the numbers. They'll respond with rhetoric.
