How to get slurpee out if my phone?

We stopped on our way home to get a slurpee but I fell asleep in the car and mr slurpee melted and got on my phone. My dad put windex in it to push out the slurpee so the sugar wouldn't harden and crust, then he put it in a container of rice. Will this work or what could I do to get it out of my phone?
